What you need to know

Who can participate?

You need to be enrolled at one of those universities: Stuttgart Media University, Sapir Academic College, University Politehnica of Bucharest or Universidad Nacional Autónoma México. If you are not enrolled at one of these universities, you are not eligible for the seasonal schools.

For further information you can check the general information at seasonal schools.

How will you decide who is allowed to take part? What are the criteria?

This time it’s not about your grades! Yeah! Just make sure to be enrolled at Stuttgart Media University, Sapir College, University Politehnica of Bucharest or Universidad Nacional Autónoma México, write a comprehensive motivation letter and fulfill the other requirements mentioned here.

What about COVID-19 and the Mission:Enterprise seasonal school?

The pandemic is still a current topic worldwide. It is therefore clear that an internationally oriented project such as Mission:Enterprise is also affected by it.

Nevertheless, we are positive that the Seasonals School can take place face-to-face.
The first Seasonal School will most likely take place at the Sapir Academic College in Sderot City, Israel.
Planned dates are: 24th of January – 2nd of February 2022.

The following dates are planned for the other Seasonal Schools:
Stuttgart Media University, Germany: 14th of April – 24th of April 2022
University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania: 18th of July – 29th of July 2022
Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Mexico: 1st of December – 15th of December 2022

As we have already experienced, changes can happen quickly due to the pandemic. We’ll keep you updated here.

Where will the Winter School in Israel take place?

Most of the workshops and seminars will take place in the lecture halls of Sapir Academic College (see map below) but we also will cruise around the city and discover the startup scene.

Where will I sleep?

Sapir Academic College is booking an accommodationl for you (students from abroad, not for Sapir College students). You will stay in Ashdod, which is only 25 min away from the Sapir Academic College. Ashdod is a beautiful beach town with bars and lots of things to do. The exact accommodation is still to be announced. Your mentors from your university will stay in the same place.

What does it cost?

The seasonal school workshops & seminars are for free. Also travel costs and accomodation will be covered. The only expenses you will have are food and personal excursions and souvenirs.

Who can I contact?

In case you have questions regarding the seasonal school in Stuttgart or general questions about the project, please contact Violetta.

There are also local „scouts“ from you country which can help you with any other question.

For Mexico it is Diana.

For Romania it is Cristian & Alexandra.

For Israel it is Moti.

What is the content of the Winter School in Israel?

We will inform you about this very soon.

However, you can look forward to a varied programme on the topic of entrepreneurship.

Can I take part in several seasonal schools of Mission:Enterprise?

There are different aspects to consider:

1. You will be able to only participate in one seasonal school abroad. So once you went to e.g. Stuttgart from another country you will be not eligible to attend another Mission:Enterprise seasonal school abroad.

2. Depending on your application (see selection criteria) it is possible that you take part in ONE Mission:Enterprise seasonal school abroad AND the Mission:Enterprise seasonal school in your home country.

3. Of course each Mission:Enterprise seasonal school treats the topic „Entrepreneurship“ but each country tackles a different focus, so be sure to have a great experience anyway.

I don’t want to go to Israel – when and how can I apply for the other seasonal schools?

The dates of the other Seasonal Schools are already planned, but there is no possibility to register here yet. As soon as the call for application for the next seasonal school is open we will keep you posted on our Website, Facebook and Instagram.

Do I need a visa to go to Israel?

Usually the participating countries do not need a visa to stay in Israel for two weeks. In case you have any doubts, you can always check the website of the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In case your native country is any other than Romania, German or Mexico, please check with your local scout (see question above „Who can I contact?“)

In which language will the seasonal school be held?

All seminars, workshops and events throughout the seasonal school will be held in English.
